Thank you for visiting my site. I am a health coach specializing in helping women to heal and transform from the inside out. I help women who want to look and feel great in their skin so they can feel confident and show up in their lives in a way they never have before.
I could be boring and tell you all about my academic achievements or my Master's Degree, but that's not a reason to choose to work with me. The reason? Because I've been there. I have struggled with my weight my whole adult life, until 6 years ago. I have put in the work and found the way to create sustainable change that really lasts! I also have an autoimmune condition (nummular eczema) and I've created enough change in my life and health that my skin is finally clearing without the use of drugs/chemicals. I understand the symptoms, the frustration that nothing seems to help, that people don't understand you or what you are going through. I understand it all and can meet you on your map to get to know your world so that we can come up with health related solutions for you, too! I help women to feel confident in any outfit; see and feel smoother, firmer, clearer and more radiant skin; achieve their perfect size and do it in a fun way with no diet plans so they can focus on the million other things on their proverbial plate instead of tracking calories, macros, steps, workouts or supplements taken. I believe in fast and feast cycles and metabolic variability and I weave this into each of my programs. Having a health coach can create the accountability you need to stay focused on what you can achieve.
Have you struggled to make lasting change? Why do you suppose that is? It's likely because 95% of our day we are operating on auto-pilot. This is because we hard wire neural networks beginning as children. Habits are hard to break because we have to consciously choose something different. That feels more like work and less like fun. I can help bring the fun to the change creation process. The goal is to slip past the autonomic nervous system (brain stem) which was created to keep us alive (fight, flight, freeze). The problem is that we don't need such high security. I will help you find the way to sneak past that security detail and into your neural network to help you hard wire your new desired habits without it feeling so hard or frustrating. I also believe that we must take things slow for this approach to work. We must layer habits and create change slowly so that the fight, flight or freeze response does not activate. The reason my coaching services will get you results is because we don't work on the premise that the reason you want to change is the actual reason. Example: maybe you want to lose weight. What is underlying your desire to lose weight? Is it your general health, is it your joints, is it a desire to reconnect with a spouse or lover? There are many reasons that can be primary. Often, as humans we choose what we want or how we want to feel based off of secondary emotions or secondary desires because we think once we have that thing, that everything else will be better. Let's dream bigger, and dig deeper to find out your MOFA (motivating factor)! I can walk with you on this journey so that you don't have to do it alone, like I did.

I believe that we are all on a journey to health. I create change by helping you discover your why. The why is at the root of success in any change. If you are doing it because you should or you are avoiding change because of fear, you won't get very far. I have extensive experience in creating lasting, healthy change by creating those changes in myself. Furthermore, I have helped many clients achieve this as well. I have been stacking goals for my health for the last 5 years and I've had amazing results. I have been an an auto-immune and weight loss journey for over 8 years and each of those years has gotten progressively better. I understand the challenges, physical, mental and emotional, that one faces when they can't seem to make changes that last Let me help you navigate this time by walking with you through the confusion to create a clear path to your health goals. I believe that those who need the most change, need to change more slowly so that the changes will last.
My education and training completes my health coaching arsenal – allowing me to provide you, the client, with the tools and methods you need to achieve your goals. I have an M.S in Counseling and have facilitated many group and individual therapy sessions with over 3,000 hours of supervised experience. During my time as a therapist, I recognized the power of group settings because of the parallels to real life.. The power comes from many opinions, from facing conflict, from disagreements, and from learning with others and having a supportive environment. I am also a skilled trainer and can break down challenging concepts to be understood more easily. Knowledge is free, the practical application is what is needed.
